My Journey
Born in Castillonnès, I am deeply attached to this unique bastide that has shaped my life. After growing up here, I taught philosophy in France for over 15 years. My work then led me to develop an international career as an author and lecturer, allowing me to build cultural and professional connections in many countries—first in Canada, and then for 15 years in the United States. These years provided me with a unique experience, further enriched by obtaining American citizenship, a testament to our integration and openness to the world.
As an author, I have written and published more than a dozen books, focusing on philosophical, cultural, and Masonic subjects. I also republish works by local authors, including several former mayors who were passionate about Castillonnès, to preserve and share the memory of our village.
Thanks to my international experiences, I have gained a solid understanding of geopolitical issues and intercultural relations, enabling me to develop a global and informed vision. This knowledge enhances my approach to promoting the future of Castillonnès by leveraging its unique heritage and potential.
I firmly believe in ambition and a positive vision for our town. My goal is to unite tradition and innovation to revitalize the local economy, strengthen our community, and position Castillonnès as a cultural and human reference point, both locally and internationally.
