J.L. de Biasi is a writer, lecturer and philosopher. He has studied the various topics of the Tradition since the seventies. 

He was born in southwestern France and has a connection to Italy through his paternal family which lead to his passion for the Western and Mediterranean initiatory and religious traditions, and, almost inevitably, to a deepening interest in the various spiritual currents which have been passed down to us from antiquity.

He is attentive to the reconciliation of the requirements of critical reason with the contributions of traditional and historical teachings and the practical work those involve.  His didactic analysis makes it possible for anyone to easily understand the operation of each of these fields.  The author coordinates various teachings and workshops at the international level.

As part of his highschool training in France, he attended a technical school, achieving various diplomas such as industrial drawing, industrial design, mechanical drawing, etc. He has a Masters in Philosophy, and taught Philosophy for more than 15 years. He has also a Diploma in Hebrew, Gestalt-therapy and onirology. He transmits the message of the philosophical tradition in its spiritual teachings and seminars.

 

J.L. de Biasi was initiated into Freemasonry in 1990. He is a Master Mason, Past Master, and 32nd Degree. Read his Masonic resume.

 

His philosophical and spiritual tradition is rooted in neoplatonic and hermetic affiliations, such as the ancient Masters: Plato, Proclus, Iamblicus, the Emperor Julian, Pletho and Ficino to name only a few, defined it.

J-L de Biasi has been initiated into the highest degrees of several Western initiatic traditions. He was introduced very early into Ordo Aurum Solis () and he is now the Grand Master. A large part of his daily work consists in perpetuating this rich Ogdoadic and Hermetic tradition. He is also in charge as Reverend of the religious expression of the Hermetic tradition called “Ecclesia Ogdoadica”, public part of the Aurum Solis.

 

As Grand Patriarch of the Rose-Cross, he is also the person in charge of the O.K.R.C. (Ordre Kabbalistique de la Rose-Croix – Kabbalistic Order of the Rose-Cross).
